Feminist Library at the WCC

Welcome to our WCC Multimedia Library! Our library is always growing. Our vision is to build a library that includes a variety of mediums anyone can engage with: books, articles, podcasts, youtube videos, films, poetry, photography, and much more. Topics can vary; we want to build a collection of resources that discuss different forms of intersectional feminism. However, we encourage you to submit stuff that you find interesting among other topics as well.

General Resources

Find a mix of resources touching on a range of topics here. This includes academic programs/support, health/fitness, The Centers, as well as Sexual Assault Prevention, Education, and Response.

Men/Male Identity at the WCC

What part can men play in gender equity? The Masculinities Project at the WCC exists because most of the messaging that surrounds us defines masculinity in terms of power, dominance, and control. This leads some men to believe that “being a man” means conforming to a very narrow and self-limiting definition of manhood.
