More About The Feminist Discussions Program

The Feminist Discussions program at the WCC exists to create a space of identity exploration through intellectual and discussion based engagement in topics related to social justice, racial equity, gender equity, etc. Although our programming mainly centers on creating space and opportunities to uplift gender marginalized voices as we collectively process the relevant and current issues of the past and present, we also support various ways of engaging, whether its through holding discussions, reading literary works, or utilizing digital media to inspire and fuel critical conversation and dialogue.

Previous topics have included criminal justice & restorative justice, religion & feminism, class & gender at Stanford, how white women can show up for women of color, performing (trans)masculinity while working towards gender equity, Climate Justice and much more.
