Hi my name is Zola Ortiz (She/Her) and I am a Junior studying Anthropology and Native American studies. I'm a proud member of the Comanche Nation, and also Kiowa, Caddo, Acoma Pueblo, and Diné. I am currently serving as a Feminist Discussions Coordinator this year! Although I've also served as a Feminist Narratives intern and Feminist Narratives Co-Coordinator.  I'm originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and really passionate about advocating for Native American people, which stems from my family’s emphasis on continually giving back to Native communities and to the land. In my free time, I love to read books about social justice and feminism or spend time with my family and friends!
