Sophia Martinez

Hi my name is Sofia Martinez, my pronouns are She/Her/ Hers, and I am the Health and Wellness Intern at the WCC. My areas of interest include Public Policy, Urban Studies, and Education. I wanted to intern at the WCC because I wanted to be a part of a supportive, empathetic, and uplifting community that worked to address issues that I closely identify with. As someone who hadn't been as informed on women's issues in the past, I felt that interning at the WCC would give me the chance to learn more about the history, as well as the continuing fight for gender equality. My hobbies include Hiking, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, reading self-help books, listening to podcasts, coffee/matcha enthusiast, and big women's soccer/basketball fan!
