What’s up! I’m Liz—your local Mexican environmental scientist and avid lover of poetry. I’m from East Los Angeles (the 323!!) and Michoacán, Mexico. I’m a junior majoring in Earth Systems, researching community initiatives fighting ‘green colonialism.’ I’ve also been a community organizer for a hot minute, and I’m a trained coach in it. At the WCC, I’m a Co-Coordinator for Feminist Narratives, and I’m excited to embrace my creative spirit and love for media this school year.
