Hi! My name is Blessyn Nkrumah and I’m excited to join the Women’s Community Center as the Feminist Narratives Intern. As a first-generation Ghanaian-American and a passionate advocate for social justice, I bring a unique perspective working in youth political engagement, educational equity, and community service. I have experience empowering marginalized voices through roles with organizations like the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition and Advocates for Women and Kids Equality. I’m a strong believer in the power of storytelling, aiming to amplify diverse perspectives and foster spaces where all identities are valued and celebrated. I am thrilled to contribute to the WCC’s mission of advancing gender equity and inclusion!
